Valley Cheer held tryouts in July of 2023 and chose our teams for the 2023-24 season. They had a spectacular year competing in five competitions and taking first place in every category as well as Grand Champions at all five competitions they attended in the local area. We are a competition NA performance team with aspirations of going full all star in 2026.

Our Season Two tryouts were held in May of 2024 and we now are proud to say we have three competitive teams and one exhibition.

Mini Marvels- This is our exhibition mini team. This team has athletes between the ages of 5 and 7 and they must have taken cheer classes in fundamentals to qualify for evaluation to be put on the team. This team will perform a 2 minute routine in exhibition style. They will not compete. They will only exhibition. This will help to ready athletes to move on to the youth team.

Legends– This is our Youth Level One Team. Athletes must be between the ages of 7-12 when tryouts are held and they will perform both a pom routine and Level one show routine. While tumbling was not required this year, athletes hoping to make this team next year should be working their front and back walkover skills for next season. This team will only travel to local/regional competitions this year.

Legacy- This is our Youth Level Two team. Athletes must be between the ages of 7-12 when tryouts are held and they will perform both a pom routine and 2.30 minute show routine. Athletes on this team should be working to get their tumbling – specifically a back walkover and back handspring. This team will compete locally/regionally and at Nationals in Las Vegas.

Icons- This is our Junior Level Three team. Athletes must be ages 9-17 at the time tryouts are held and they will perform both a pom and a 2.30 minute show routine. Athletes on this team should be working back handspring and back handsprings to tucks. They will compete both locally/regionally as well as in Washington state and at Nationals in Las Vegas.
