ALL STAR CHEER TEAMS

If you are interested in trying out for one of our competitive teams this season, please review the information below carefully.

We have scheduled two parent/athlete informational meetings. You are only required to attend one of the following:

March 21st at 6:00 PM
March 22nd at 6:00 PM

Both meetings will be held at 1026 Bryden Ave, Lewiston, at our tumbling center.

Due to scheduling conflicts with a large basketball tournament, we will also host a smaller third meeting. The date for this meeting will be announced soon.

Please note that All-Star cheer is a significant commitment, both financially and in terms of time. Attendance at one of the informational meetings is mandatory in order to register for tryouts.

Tryout clinics will be held May 13–16 and will be organized by age group. Participants will attend a clinic session each day during this period.

Official tryouts will take place May 18–20, also organized by age group.

Team placements will be announced via email on May 22 and practices will begin the week of June 1st.

🎬 2026-27 SEASON THEME- TO BE ANNOUNCED AT MEETING

Get ready for our 2026-27 season with a super fun gym theme that will be announced at the team meetings in March. We are very excited! This year’s proposed teams are:

Mini Team- Ages 5-8
Novice Level 1 Youth Team- Ages 7-13
Elite Level 1 Youth Team- Ages 7-13
Elite Level 2 Youth Team- Ages 7-13
Elite Level 2 Junior Team- Ages 8-16
Elite Level 3 Junior Team- Ages 8-16
Elite Level 3 Senior Team- Ages 10-19 (based on scoresheet-age may change)

If you’re interested in joining one of our competitive teams, the next opportunity is just around the corner!
Our 2026–27 season begins in late May 2026. The best way to get ready for try outs to make sure you are working tumbling and cheer basics-both of which can be done in any of our classes!

What to Expect:

Evaluation Week – One week of intensive classes to see how you stunt, jump and dance.
Tryouts – Attend one of three tryout days; judged by Valley’s coaching panel
Team Placements – Based on skill level to ensure the best athlete fit
Season Kickoff – Signing will occur the first day of class and fittings will be held on May 11th.

Mandatory Dates:

Choreography Camp: Choreo will run the week of June 15th-20th and depending on what team you make, will determine which two days you attend. (8-2 am or 3-9pm)
Cheer Camp: July 2026
- Some teams will travel to Portland, OR (all Junior 2 and higher) July 6-10
- Other teams will attend local Dream Camps hosted at our gym- July 28-30th

At Valley, we’re a family. Throughout the season, we offer a variety of fun and community-based activities:

🏆 Competition Season

We kick off our season with our annual Showcase held at Lewiston High School. This also invites other teams to come and show off their routines. This is a fundraiser for our year end banquet as well.

Our full competition schedule will be released in May/June 2026, but will include both local and regional and other events. There will be at least one fly away event. Please note: not all teams attend the same competitions. Some teams may have two fly away events and others just one. 2026-27 is scheduled to be a bid year. (more details at the meeting)

We end the season with our Valley Banquet—a night of celebration featuring a DJ, dinner, awards for every athlete, and one final night of fun with your team.
